According to The Citizen, the party comes after Minnie and her husband Quintin Jones hosted an Imbeleko ceremony for Netha
Imbeleko is a traditional ceremony that is usually held after the 10th day of the child’s birth or later as an act of detaching and burning the umbilical cord in ancestral grounds, as a way to connect the mother and introduce the child to their ancestors.
The event featured an African theme.
In attendance were Minnie and Jone’s close friends including Anele Mdoda, Norma Mngoma and Zola Nombona.
