Cape Town – South African musician Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi better known as Toya Delazy, has shared a cute snap of herself, her wife, Alisson “Ally” Chaig and their baby girl, Kali Langa Chaigneau-Buthelezi.
Toya and Ally tied the knot last year in October after being together for 10 years.
Earlier this year, Toya announced that she and her wife were pregnant with their first child.
On May 20, she announced that they had welcomed their baby girl.
“My wife just gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl, both mom & baby are doing well. I have a family,” wrote Toya in a tweet at the time.

Toya has once again taken to social media to enlighten her fans about the history behind their baby girl’s name.
“Kali Langa, your name means Strength in Swahili and Sunshine in Zulu, just like the ray of sun that pierced through the clouds at 17.15, indeed kwakhal’ ilanga englandi liguqubele, magically illuminating the whole city as you peaked through, one eye open, ready for this adventure called life. You also carry the powerful name of a Hindu goddess, representing Time, the force of nature and divine feminine. You are also born on the day your great⁵ grand father King Dinizulu ka Cetswayo was officially recognised as King of the zulus by the british government.

Baby, you already carry so much history, but hold it with pride for it’s your birth right. You’re so beautiful, I will love you forever, I will protect you with all my strength, and I will be your guide whenever you need me little one. Xxx. Universe, thank you for this gift. Alisson, I love you, thanks for being such an amazing wife, partner in crime and now, mum (milk warrior).
Kali Langa Chaigneau-Buthelezi,” wrote Toya in an Instagram post.
