Cape Town – Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel officially launched the Kolisi Foundation and celebrated its two-year anniversary on Friday last week.
According to the Kolisi foundation site, the foundation was founded by both Siya and Rachel in 2020, with an aim to assist people living in under-resourced communities in South Africa.
The foundation provides resources for facilitating capacity-building and horizontal learning exchanges, and mobilising and advocating for systemic change.
Its focus areas include food security, gender-based violence education and sports development.

Rachel took to Instagram to show gratitude to all the attendees.
“I don’t know what to say, but thank you. We celebrated 2 years of @kolisi_foundation and the official launch. I’m still taking it all in, so overwhelmed, SO grateful,” wrote Rachel in an Instagram post.
