Cape Town – South African media personality Pearl Thusi has hit back at controversial YouTuber Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi for labelling her a “deadbeat mom”.
Nota criticised Pearl’s parenting abilities in a recent episode of the YouTube podcast Everything SA Music.
He said that Pearl’s daughter’s father raised their daughter alone for the most part.
Nota called Pearl a “deadbeat and helicopter mom”.
“Pearl Thusi, what values is she espousing to her kid? She’s got a kid right now, the kid had to be raised by the father the entire time. She was like a helicopter mom, you understand, deadbeat, helicopter mom that’s there to take pictures with the kid,” said Nota.
“Pearl Thusi is a deadbeat mom & helicopter parent” ????
NOTA also went on to reveal his problem with DJ Zinhle ?

“My life, my career choices and even coming back to South Africa – was centered around my children. I realigned my vision and goals to make sure I could be here for them and provide for them and the idea that someone can wake up and decide to say whatever suites their narrative because no one holds them accountable is ridiculous,” wrote Pearl in a tweet.
