Cape Town — South African actress, Minnie Dlamini, faced a ton of criticism on social media following her comments about her ex-boyfriend, Ithumeleng Khune.
In a video that trended on X, Minnie was shocked to find out that Khune still plays for his club, Kaizer Chiefs.
“No man guys, Khune doesn’t still play?” she asked. When a voice in the background confirms that he still does, she could not hide her surprise.
“HE STILL PLAYS?,” she screamed before taking in her awkward moment and continuing with her analysis.
In another video that trended online, Minnie addressed the comments from the previous episode, saying people could not understand the joke and that she’s moved past it.
“After learning what a joke was from me last week, the socials went on to make that joke trend.” She then started laughing and making a money gesture.

It was a very tongue-in-cheek moment for Minnie, she continued by asking people to respect her privacy.
I don’t have anything to say about this situation. I just ask that you respect my privacy. I’m also just under a lot of stress because if I’m not trending on social media, I’m also on the front pages of tabloid’s for buying people furniture. In the words of influencer Mihlali Ndamase: ‘I’m so tired of carrying this industry on my back.’,” Minnie concluded.
People flooded to the comments to address Minnie’s comments, saying she was acting petty and that it was a new low, even for her.
“She tried too hard here 😅😂😂,” @Aqurianzee said.
“This was painful to watch 🤦🏽♀️,” @immaculate_tp wrote.
“She should’ve just said nothing…syashesha ukukhohlwa thina,” @zesimdumise added.
