Cape Town – Partner of the late rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, Nadia Nakai took to social media to pay tribute to her boyfriend, quoting a Bible verse in which she asked God for assistance in dealing with the loss of her lover.
AKA, also known to his fans as Supamega, died on February 10 after being on the receiving end of a bullet outside a Durban restaurant, Wish on Florida.
Nadia took to Instagram to pray for divine intervention in her second heartbreaking tribute, as she attempts to deal with the loss of someone she had been very in love with.
“O God, come to my assistance; O Lord hurry to help me. Please take the consuming anguish I feel right now; Take it from me and hold me in your arms. Heal my broken heart and bind my wounds. Amen
Psalm 147:3,” Nadia wrote in the caption of a post.

“In time He will… your healing will unpack itself in you and grow with you. You will live despite the pain. I’m so sorry Nadia,” wrote Kayise.
“I’m praying for you my babe and I speak Phillipians 4:16 over you, may God give you peace that surpasses all understanding and may He cover you with a love that will renew your strength in the name of Jesus Christ. I’m sending you so much love and light Nadia,” wrote another follower.
Nine days after his death, Nadia took to social media to pay tribute to her fallen lover, sharing various clips of her and AKA during their cherished moments together.
She wrote: “My heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday. I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, prayed for me, inspired me.
“I find it hard to breath let alone find the words to explain how much I love you. I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts!”
