Cape Town – Controversial South African poet and singer Ntsiki Mazwai has expressed her dissatisfaction about Somizi Mhlongo being back on the Idols SA judging panel despite him being accused of physical abuse by his estranged husband Mohale Motaung.
Ntsiki took to Twitter and wrote: “Isn’t it funny how Unathi was fired from @dstv Pop Idols for her false allegations….. But Somizi kept the job when he has a real conviction?? Pls balance me about the lady who is head of programming at dstv….. Is she targeting only women? Is she the patriarchy gatekeeper?”.

According to The South African, Unathi allegedly accused radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo of verbally abusing her last year. There were leaked audios that seemed to have proven otherwise.
This was after Unathi was dismissed from the radio station in November 2021, the report said.
