Cape Town – Embattled House music DJ Themba “Euphonik” Nkosi has won his court case against controversial poet, Ntsiki Mazwai, with costs.
According to The Citizen, the High Court in Johannesburg issued out its verdict on the case on March 10 and found that Ntsiki’s tweets were defamatory after she insinuated on Twitter that Euphonik was a rapist in 2020.
“Any person who has substantial social media following and who is able, as a consequence thereof to reach out to and influence a large community of people, as the respondent is able to do, is required to ensure that they exercise temperance and responsibility in the dissemination of public posts. More importantly, the respondent ought to ensure that her public statements are based and founded in truth and in fact,” the report quoted the judgement as saying.

She was subsequently sued by DJ Fresh and was ordered by the court to pay him R200 000 for her remarks.
Ntsiki took to Twitter recently to share with her multitude of followers her joy of having been done paying DJ Fresh the due R200 000.
“I finished paying the one dj’s R200 000 this week. Now the other dj. I’m starting to party. Because I f**cken deserve it,” said Ntsiki on Twitter.
