Cape Town – BET Africa’s presenter Nomalanga Shozi is handing over the reins to upcoming social media influencer, Naledi Radebe, as she steps down to prepare for motherhood.
Nomalanga announced recently on social media that she is expecting her first child with one of the Major League’s DJs Banele Mbere.
BET Africa recently hosted a spectacular star-studded baby shower for her. It was attended by the likes of mommy-to-be- Ayanda Thabethe, Cassper Nyovest, and social media influencer Mihlali Ndamase, amongst many other celebrities.

According to IOL, Naledi, also known as Leddi G, is well-known for her travel and lifestyle content as well as her captivating style. She first made her TV and social media debut as a runner-up on MTV’s Base VJ search.
Since then, she has garnered over 45 000 followers on Instagram alone – proving that people are captivated by fresh talent and authenticity.
Leddi G took to Instagram to thank Nomalanga and the BET Africa channel for giving her exposure to the show business industry.
“Super excited to be joining the BET Africa family.
“Grateful for the warmest welcome, loving the team already and a special thanks to the flame that is Nomalanga Shozi for showing me the ropes and giving me solid advice- just some black on black girl love, you’re a real G.
“Wishing you all the best in the final stages of your pregnancy, cannot wait to meet baby flame,” she said in her caption.

Meanwhile, BET Africa welcomed Leddi G and congratulated her on her new role.

Monde also thanked Nomalanga and wished her well on her maternity leave.
“This is a bittersweet moment for BET Africa. We are excited for Nomalanga as she transitions to her new motherhood journey, we wish her all the best on this break and look forward to her return,” IOL quoted him as saying.
