Cape Town – In a world where people look at other social media users and begin to feel down because they are not meeting the standards it has set, AKA reminded his followers that social media is not the be-all and end-all.
Taking to Twitter, AKA shared some of his wisdom that may end up helping some people through a tough period in their lives.
He said that nobody is posting their struggles onto social media, only their triumphs.
“In this era of social media. Nobody is posting their struggles, it’s only the flashy stuff, the success the triumphs. Don’t let it make you feel like you do not HAVE … you do,” He wrote on Twitter
“Set your own tempo, be grateful, work hard and everything you ever wanted will fall into place.”

In another tweet, he told his followers that it’s okay to be ambitious, but reminded them to be grateful for what they already possess.
“Be truly grateful for what you have. It’s good to be ambitious and set goals and aspire to get nice things but trust me, food in the fridge, roof over your head, family in good health, there are A LOT of people who don’t have these things. Every day, thank God,” he tweeted.
He urged his followers to resist the self-constructed pressure put on them by social media.
You do not know what people are going through or the lengths they are going to in order to attain these material things … don’t let social media pressurise you into thinking you are a have not … you do not know the whole story. Just focus on your self and your family. ??
