Johannesburg — Nigerian music star Burna Boy had SA music fans buzzing when he announced he’s set to return to SA to perform at the FNB Stadium in September this year.
Burna Boy is one of Africa’s biggest music artists and has received great international praise.
He is popular all over the world and no doubt, his return to South Africa will be a joy to many music fans.
This will be his second visit to South Africa, a year after headlining last year’s DSTV Delicious Festival. He gave a star performance to thousands of spectators who flocked to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, The South African said.

Burna Boy has been in the industry for over 10 years and in 2022, he received global success for his 2022 album Love, Damini, leading to him scooping the award for Best International Act at the BET Awards in June 2023, beating out South Africa’s K.O and Uncle Waffles, The Citizen said.
“African talent knows no bounds and Burna Boy is the best example of that. Not only was he the first Nigerian artist to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York. He continued on to headline and sell out stadium shows in both London and New York. This African giant’s footsteps speak for themselves and we are convinced he will be able to do the same at FNB stadium in September,” Ternary Music Group CEO, Sedote Nwachukwu said.
Tickets for the show start at R765, rising all the way up to R2 020.
