Cape Town — South African rapper, Nasty C, is set to join an exclusive list of artists to perform at one of New York’s iconic restaurants, S.O.B.’s.
The official S.O.B.’s Instagram page made the announcement of Nasty C’s performance, with the artist set to perform on Wednesday 8 November, where he will be giving a free concert and doing a Q&A afterwards. This will also be his first ever performance in New York.

According to The Citizen, S.O.B stands for “Sounds of Brazil” and was opened in 1982 to showcase the Afro-Latina music and diaspora to as many people as possible.
S.O.B.’s draws both local and international crowds, continuing to specialise in Brazilian, Latin, R&B, Hip Hop, Haitian, Caribbean, Alternative and World music.
It has become a popular venue for musical genres from all over the w0rld, with artists such as Kanye West, Drake, and Justin Timberlake having performed there before.
Nasty C will follow in the footsteps of fellow South Africans, Hugh Masekela, Dorothy Masuka and Mahlathini and the Mahotella Queens to have performed there.
Nasty C took to his Instagram timeline to announce the show, and encouraged any of his fans to come and support the show.
