Cape Town — South African rapper Nadia Nakai recently revealed a hidden secret about AKA’s necklace that always kept him safe, until he finally took it off.
AKA always wore his famous necklace and he told Nadia that he would always wear it, and would never take it off, The South African said.
A screenshot of Nadia’s Instagram story showed a picture of AKA, posing with the necklace around his neck and saying: “look babe, I never take off my necklace.”
Nadia added at the end “the one day you did”, with a broken heart emoji.

Believing this luck would translate to her, Nadia has now started wearing the necklace and a screenshot of her Instagram story showed her posing with it.
She said: “Now I’ll never take it off, I hope it protects me the way I wish it did you.”
Nadia has been living it up in Dubai on holiday and she has been sharing pictures and videos of a well-deserved holiday following AKA’s death.
According to SA Hip-Hop Mag, Nadia and AKA loved each other dearly and Nadia still expresses her love for the Supa Mega and the recent gesture is a clear indication.
She posted a video wearing a bracelet with AKA’s first name — Kiernan — in arabic. A touching gesture to her fallen partner and a sign that she still holds him dear in her heart
