Cape Town — Nadia Nakai has expressed her anger after apparel brand Amakipkip launched an AKA tribute shirt without permission from the Forbes family.
The news was first broken by AKA’s brother, Stefan, who took to his Instagram story and revealed his anger at the brand for releasing the shirt without consulting the family.
“No shame amakipkip store,” he wrote on his Instagram stories, The South African reported.
Nadai echoed Stefan’s sentiments and slammed the company for releasing the shirt.
She took to Twitter and was upset at fellow rapper DA L.E.S who she thought had made his own shirt. She also got upset that he had shared Stefan’s post.
“WTF!!! I thought Les just made one for himself,”
“Then to repost Steff’s post like it’s nothing.. wow!”

In the aftermath of Stefan and Nadia’s reactions, AmaKipKip has since issued an apology to the Forbes family and will be discontinuing the sale of the t-shirts.
Understandably, many of the Megacy were upset at the release of the top but some had mixed reactions towards Nadia. Some fans supported her outrage while others said she had no right to be so upset because she was not really part of the Forbes family.
Relax, you’re not part of the family!! You were just an Ordinary Girlfriend
