Cape Town — South African rapper, Nadia Nakai, has come under criticism after she was reportedly accused of not returning a 26-inch wig that was allegedly valued at R6 500.
It was reported that Nadia borrowed the wig from Senia, a wig owner from Namibia, when she performed in Botswana in September.
Senia Allegedly said that Nadia was meant to wear the wig for one day only and return it to reception at the hotel for collection, or she could pay R6 500 if she wanted the wig, The South African reported.
Controversial celebrity blogger, Musa Khawula revealed the details of the incident, saying that Senia was surprised to see Nadia back in South Africa wearing the wig she gave her to use, with no payments made.
Later, when Senia reached out to Nadia to get the wig back, Nadia returned the wig but she said it was not the same one as it was much shorter with a lot less hair on it.

However, shortly after Senia had accused Nadia of not returning the wig or failing to make the payment, Nadia made good on her promise and sent the R6 500 amount, which Senia was grateful for.
“From the bottom of my heart, I must thank you all my lovely Namibians for the utmost support during my wig issue. I can c0nfirm that I just received the payment for the wig and will be deleting all my posts regarding this matter now.” she said.
She added that she would be donating 1 500 Namibian dollars to a charity.
