Cape Town — DJ Sbu has come out in support of Dineo Ranaka who recently revealed she’s been struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide.
In a video that was circulating on Twitter, DJ Sbu revealed that he’s in full support of Dineo and her current struggles.
“My heart goes out to Dineo, my sister, her family, her siblings, her children. I just hope she finds the strength to pass through this challenging moment,” he said.
“We all have got our own episodes that we go through in this thing called life, There is no written manual. It does get challenging at times, it does get difficult at times, it does feel very unbearable at times and we don’t know what people are going through,” he added.

DJ Sbu went on to say that it takes a brave person to come out and admit that they’re struggling with their mental health and although it’s not something he would do, people should show support to those who are crying out for help, and not throw their mistakes back at them.
Dineo recently took to Instagram to reveal that she’s been struggling with depression and understands why some people contemplate suicide.
“I COMPLETELY understand souls/spirits/people that commit suicide. I get it. I get them. Because I’m trying my best to NOT commit suicide,” she said.
