Cape Town – Businesswoman and socialite Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize and her son Andile Mpisane, recently put aside the tension that exists between them and Andile’s former girlfriend, DJ Sithelo Shozi, to celebrate baby Coco’s first birthday.
This was amid abuse allegations leveled by the DJ against her former boyfriend, Andile and his family earlier this month, which MaMkhize denied in a statement.
Andile took to his Instagram to wish his daughter a happy birthday, sharing a video of himself holding Coco.

“Happy birthday Coco my beautiful daughter,” he captioned the video.
Granny MaMkhize followed suit, sharing a clip featuring Coco’s pictures coupled with a sweet message on her Instagra page.
She shared her well wishes and blessings.

“To Baby Coco, May God protect and watch over you in every step of your life. My wish is for you to live life with no limits and to grow up to be a healthy, strong and proud Zulu princess. Know that you will always be loved by your family. Happy 1st Birthday Coco. Blessed to be a Glammy to my girls,” she wrote.
However, Coco’s birthday didn’t go without drama, as Sithelo took to her Insta stories and declared that her daughter was fatherless, reported TimesLive.
“As far as I’m concerned my daughter does not have a father or an extended family until proven otherwise. I’m purely dedicating this day to her and thanking God for blessing and entrusting me with her,” the report quoted her as saying.
Sithelo, however, requested that there be no sensationalism from anything around what she stated. “We’ve been through an awful lot this year and a little kindness would go a long way right now,” the report quoted.
