Cape Town — Springboks and Stormers flyhalf, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, posted a heartwarming tribute to his mother on his Instagram page.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu is the son of British-born radio presenter Nick Feinberg and Zulu mother, Maxhosazana Mngomezulu. His brother, Nathan Mngomezulu, is a social media and reality TV star.
Sacha has always been a family man and has often posted pictures with his family and has never been shy to show off his love for his family. The latest person was his mother.
In an Instagram story, Sacaha shared a picture with his mother to his Instagram story where he embraced his mother with a hug from behind and wrote a heartfelt caption:
“Mumsy prettier than me,” he captioned the snap, alongside a “queen” emoji.
According to The South African, Sacha’s mother is an advocate in the Cape Bar and she would no doubt be proud of her son after his nomination for World Rugby’s Breakthrough Player of the Year award.
The rugby star has also revealed his full name in an interview on Behind the Ruck with former Springboks, Rudy Paige and Juan De Jongh.
” Sacha is a Russian name, as my family has Russian descent, and it means ‘the defender of mankind.’ Mbokodo means a ‘strong rock,’ and then Mngomezulu means the ‘song of the heavens.’ There is a bit of everything in my name,” he said.
Sacha’s brother Nathan – who appeared in season three of Netflix’s Too Hot Too – has also boasted of his Zulu heritage, hailing himself as a “warrior” in the reality TV show.
