Cape Town – Reality TV star and retired fashion stylist Mome Mahlangu, popularly known as Mrs Mome, has given her followers some insight into her new book titled Mome’s Depth of Black Love.
Taking to Instagram, Mrs Mome shared the cover of her new book and explained her thoughts behind it in a lengthy caption.
“When I wrote this book, I was writing it for my daughters and son to understand the importance of ‘protecting your mental health and for them to learn and understand that you don’t have to force anyone to accept you [and] not having a relationship with your in-laws, to protect your mental wellness, is a healthy choice for your mind, body and soul,” she wrote.

The Mo and Mome reality TV star added that the book revealed some of the things she went through with her in-laws, which included toxicity and witchcraft.
“In our 10 years of a public marriage @tolassmothegamer, we have learned, [are] still learning, and we are ready to share with you what the reality show could not have narrated in detail,” she continued in her caption.
“This book is for you to heal as we learned that majority of women in marriages go through this; this book is for you and your children and their children’s children to prepare them against needing healing in marriage because of in-law depression but choosing their mental health from toxicity,” the caption read.
