Cape Town – There seems to be no end in sight for the public spat between former Expresso TV presenter, Katlego Maboe, and his controversial former girlfriend, Monique Muller.
According to The Citizen, Monique Muller shared screenshots of DMs on social media from her account, claiming they were from angry fans who are spewing hate mail to her.
This was after she posted a story on Instagram in which she said that if people didn’t like her but still paid attention to what she did, then “you’re a fan”.

The post that has since been deleted apparently sparked outrage on the social platform.
“The way some people are offended by my previous post. You know if some of you put this kind of energy into serious injustices happening in our country then we might just be living in a better country,” the report quoted her as saying.
Monique has recently come under fire from the majority of social media users after a Magistrate’s Court ruled against her applied protection order against Maboe whom she claimed was physically abusive towards her.
In a recent interview with TimesLive, she said she felt unrepresented in court because her legal bill had risen to R1 million and she couldn’t afford to pay their services so she continued without representation.
“There are so many loopholes in the system that allow abusers to do what Katlego and his team have done to me, like, for example, to have this case dragged for two years. To the point where my bills were more than R1m.
“They exhausted me financially and emotionally,” she said, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Maboe hasn’t had any comment to the media after his publicist issued his statement regarding victory.
