Cape Town – South African media personality and singer Molemo Maarohanye, better known by his stage name ‘Jub Jub’ has been suspended by Moja Love Channel amid rape allegations made against him by multiple women.
It all started when his Channel-O interview with MacG on Podcast and Chill trended on social media.
Jub Jub claimed in the interview that he ‘smashed’ Amanda du Pont.
Following this, Du Pont made shocking revelations on her Instagram page, uploading an emotional video detailing how Jub Jub made her life a living hell during their relationship.
Du Pont claimed in the 17:50-minute video that Jub Jub raped and abused her both physically and emotionally for two years during their relationship, to the point where she decided to have an abortion.

“You didn’t smash me, you forcefully opened my legs and you forced yourself on me numerous times for two years. The most painful part of all of this was that I was a virgin and I told him at the time. I told Jub Jub at the time that I was a virgin and I planned to be a virgin until the time I got married,” she said.
Du Pont’s video quickly went viral, topping the Twitter trends.
It also encouraged and inspired other weomen who allegedly suffered the same fate as her at the hands of Jub Jub to come forward.
Amongst those who came forward was Jub Jub’s cousin, who revealed that he also raped her.
