Mohale laughs off claims he wants 50% of Somizi’s estate

Cape Town – Actor and radio presenter Mohale Motaung has laughed off the rumours that he wants half of his estranged husband, Somizi Mhlongo’s estate.

This follows Twitter user Musa Khawula’s recent claim that Mohale wants 50% of Somizi’s estate.

“Somizi Mhlongo has registered 3 beneficiaries under his estate. He registered his baby mama Palesa, Bahumi and Mohale Motaung in a bid to dilute and shrink what Mohale might claim during their divorce settlement. Mohale demands 50% of Somizi’s estate,” wrote Musa in a tweet.
Mohale replied to Musa’s tweet with a “Lol”.

In a subsequent tweet, Mohale requested that his followers provide Musa with his contact information so that he can at least report accurate news.

“E fang Musa Khawula my number – so that he can at least report factual news ?,” Mohale wrote in a tweet.

Somizi and Mohale married in a traditional ceremony in September 2019, followed by an extravagant white wedding in 2020, according to Channel24.

Their marriage, however, was short-lived, as the two are currently divorcing due to abuse allegations made by Mohale against Somizi.

Mohale, in a leaked recording, claimed that Somizi broke his ribs and nearly knocked out his two teeth in a jealously-fueled domestic dispute in their Joburg home in 2020.
