Cape Town – The Miss South Africa pageant will be returning to Gauteng on August 13 after being held in Cape Town for two years.
The pageant will crown the new Miss SA at the SunBet Arena at Times Square, Tshwane.
Miss SA pageant took to social media to announce the news.
“From the coast to South Africa’s Capital City. This year’s pageant finale will be hosted @suninternationalza’s SunBet Arena @timesquareza in Pretoria on the 13th of August 2022! Are you ready for another spectacular show?,” wrote the pageant in an Instagram post.

Miss South Africa Organisation CEO Stephanie Weil expressed her excitement about the return of the Miss SA pageant to Gauteng, Sunday World reported.
“We are looking forward to having Miss South Africa back in Gauteng and at the SunBet Arena at Time Square. It is an amazing venue to host a competition such as this and one that caters for contestants, entertainers and the audience,” said Weil as quoted by the report.

The pageant will be broadcast live on Dstv’s Mnet and Mzansi Magic, according to Daily Sun.
This year’s judges include Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, body positive activist Tracey-Lee Lusty Horwitz, Dentsu CEO Koo Govender, fashion designer Khosi Nkosi, True Love Editor-in-Chief, Makhosazana Zwane-Siguqa, actor Simoné Nortmann and actor and TV personality Thando Thabethe.
