Cape Town – South African-based musician, Joao “J’Something” da Fonseca has taken to social media to wish his late father a happy heavenly birthday.
The award winning artist took to his Instagram account sharing a picture of himse with his father.
He expressed his gratitude to his father and how much he misses him.
“Happy birthday to my late father. I carry so much of him in all that I do. Miss him every day. Grateful for everything he did for me and our family. So many moments where I feel his presence … Love and light,” he captioned the picture.

Fans and followers took to the comments sections to share words of comfort with the artist while some commented on how much he looked like his father.
“Copy and paste for sure. Happy Heavenly birthday to your Dad. Sending love to you today as you remember your Dad.” wrote Grandma_Fel while another follower wrote “Hey J, not easy brother but we learn to live with the pain… I can feel your pain in your writing, I recently lost my dad.. It’s painful damn I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.”
