Cape Town – Mia le Roux, a 28-year-old marketing manager from Cape Town, was crowned Miss South Africa 2024 during the pageant finale at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.
As the first differently-abled finalist in the pageant’s history, she was awarded R1 million, a serviced apartment, homeware, a Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé, and more.
In her acceptance speech, le Roux expressed deep gratitude and highlighted her journey of overcoming challenges, including a cochlear implant she received as a child.

She emphasised her commitment to representing and advocating for those who feel different or excluded.
Soweto’s Nompumelelo Maduna was the runner-up.
