Cape Town — South African DJ and producer, DJ Maphorisa, reportedly faces allegations of sleeping with male amapiano stars from ex-convict, Bongani Tsime.
The allegations came when Bongani appeared on the Against The Wall podcast and said that anyone who wants to make it on the industry, had to sleep with DJ Maphorisa first, The Citizen reported.
Maphorisa didn’t take kindly to Bongani’s accusations and took to his X account to set the record straight, and promised to make Bongani pay for his comments
“I’m gonna show you how I deal with these kinds of issues. I will make him pay,” he said in a post that’s since been deleted, according to the report.
Maphorisa found an unlikely ally in the form of EFF leader, Julius Malema. In response to the original post, Malema encouraged Maphorisa to go hard and take action against Bongani.
“Mess him up Chana, go very hard,” Malema said.
“Deal with them harshly bro. These type of people don’t understand that their actions have negative impact on people’s careers,” another X user said.

It is not the first time DJ Maphorisa is facing serious allegations such as this. Earlier this year, his girlfriend Thuli Phongolo, accused him of assaulting her shortly before the two were scheduled to perform together at a gig. Thuli said he had grabbed her by the neck and slapped her multiple times across the face.
Maphorisa was then taken into custody and granted R4 000 bail after Thuli had dropped the charges against him.
