Cape Town – South African musician, Kgaogelo “Master KG” Moagi has responded to a summons issued against him and his entertainment company Open Mic Productions for alleged copyright infringement over the hit song Jerusalema.
Reports indicated that Musician Presley Lebogang “Biblos” Ledwaba and Ntimela Chris ” Charmza the DJ” Chauke issued legal documents against Master KG, his record company Open Mic Productions, and music distributor Africori.
The two artists claimed that they created Jerusalema.
According to The South African. Charmza alleged he was invited to the studio by Master KG and created the musical work while Nomcebo Zikode wrote and performed the lyrics to the global hit song, but was never paid royalties.
Master KG has been served with a lawsuit for the copyright infringement of the global hit Jerusalema.

In his response, Master KG rubbished the claims, calling them defamatory, reported TshisaLive.
“They can’t even spell my name well because they don’t know f**oll. I am looking forward to you reporting the outcome of the case if there is going to be any,” the report quoted Master KG as saying.
Open Mic Productions, on the other hand, said it was “inappropriate to pass allegations as facts” when they had not been tested in court.
