Cape Town – South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns has put big smiles on the faces of FIFA players in the country after they announced that they will be hosting a FIFA 23 tournament with a prize pool of R200 000.
The top 8 players across South Africa will battle it out at the live grand finals at Rage from 9 to 11 December and take home their share of the R200 000 prize pool.
The Premiership club confirmed that the top player from each live qualifier and the top 4 from the online qualifier will be flown to Johannesburg to compete in the live grand finals at Rage. The live qualifiers will take place at Menlyn Mall and the V&A Waterfront on November 19 and then at the Mall of Africa and Gateway Mall on December 3.
Players looking to take part can register online or qualify in-store. Online registration closes on November 25.
