Cape Town — South African singer Makhadzi is on a path to recovery and has made plans to move on from her ex.
She has been in the media a lot lately due to her music career and also leaving her old production company to start her own.
However, the one thing she’s been looking for is love, and has been outspoken about how lonely she’s been.
“So I must be single until when. Yooo it’s been full 8month and no one coming to fool me nyana. ????. Guys I miss being in love ? ???aivho this is no longer normal,” she recently tweeted.
This week, she took to her Facebook timeline and posted a video with a teaser of one of her songs playing over the video. In the caption, she wrote how she wants her and her ex to move on to new chapters in their life.
Despite her romance struggles, she’s been thriving in the music industry and has gone on to much success in the past couple of years.
“Reaching gold status is truly humbling, I knew I’d be successful in the music industry. However, I never thought it would come so soon. I still pinch myself sometimes because it feels like a dream,” she told TimesLIVE after her EP Pain ya Jealousy reached gold status.
The Limpopo-born musician became a multi platinum-selling artist in 2022, with a number of her albums reaching platinum and double platinum status.
