Cape Town – South African award-winning musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known by her stage name, Makhadzi, reportedly survived a near-fatal incident last Saturday.
According to The Citizen, Makhadzi was at Ga-Rankuwa Shisanyana, in Pretoria, where she was set to perform when two armed men approached her.
Apparently, she had been scheduled to perform at 20:00, but was delayed until midnight. The singer had, therefore, opted to wait in her vehicle and “rest”.
The man pointed a gun at Makhadzi and proceeded to take her valuable possessions.

Fleeing the incident, Makhadzi and her dancers ran to the venue shouting for help, and the men shot in their direction.
Fortunately, no one was harmed.
Makhadzi and her dancers received counselling after being shaken by the incident, The South African reported.
A case of robbery has since been opened at at Ga-Rankuwa police station.
