Cape Town – Valentine’s Day hasn’t been kind to the Love Island SA winners Libho and Thimna who have announced their split after a year of winning the competition.
The two took to their respective social media platforms to announce that after giving it their all, they have decided to part ways, amicably.

“Libho and I have decided to break up. We thank each and everyone of you who have supported and loved us. The past year has been amazing! Our relationship was beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing about it,” wrote Thimna on her Instagram story.
Libho also later confirmed Thimna’s statement.
“Thimna and I have decided to break up. It’s been an amazing journey and I find comfort in that we gave it a full go and held nothing back. I’ve learned so much about relationships and myself. I will cherish our time together forever,” said Libho.
The couple found love during the season one premiere of the reality dating show, last year.
According to Drum, they went home with a whopping R1 million, as part of their victory, after they received the most viewer votes from a total of over 1.6 million during the finale.
They opted to split the money.
They subsequently started their own Youtube channel, documenting their relationship.
