Cape Town – Tweeps seem to think that a boxing match between OneSA movement leader Mmusi Maimane and musician Mandla Maphumulo, better known as Mampintsha would be an exciting one.
Following his friendly fight with actor and musician Anga “NaakMusiq” Makubalo in Sun City on April 9, rapper Refiloe “Cassper Nyovest” Phoolo took to Twitter to ask his fans who they would like to see in the boxing ring next.
The rapper proposed the pairing of musician Siyabonga “Big Zulu” Nene and Thato “Dj Fresh” Sikwane.
“Who would yall like to see fight next at #CelebCity? How about Big Zulu and Dj Fresh? That’s a good fight. Send me names,” wrote Cassper in a tweet.

His fans, however, had other suggestions.
They took to his comment section with names of the people they would like to see in a boxing match.
Some of the suggestions included Mohale vs Somizi, Julius Malema vs Nhlanhla Lux, Makhadzi vs Babes Wodumo, and Ramaphosa vs Jacob Zuma.
One Twitter user retweeted Mmusi Maimane’s old tweet in which he challenged Mampintsha to a boxing match, saying that they would like to see the two fight.

According to Times Live, Mmaimane challenged Mampintsha to a fight in 2019 after a video of him assaulting his wife and mother of his child Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane went viral.
In his defence, Mampintsha alleged that he had acted in self-defence. He admitted to hitting Babes, but said she was “drunk” and he was “sober,” the report said.
