Cape Town – Kalawa Jazmee founder and owner, Oskido, has taken up a bold step of going back to the classroom to empower himself through education.
He took to Instagram to post a picture of himself in the classroom holding a textbook.
“Today I embark on a new challenge by going back to school,” he said.
Oskido has enrolled at the University of Pretoria for a five months Project Management Programme.
“Believers let’s keep growing & empowering ourselves,” he captioned the post.
Oskido founded the legendary giant music record label, Kalawa Jazmee, which is home to famous music greats like Busiswa, Unathi Nkayi, DJ Zintle, Thandiswa Mazwai and many more other well-established musicians.

The businessman said he decided to go back to school because he wanted to challenge himself, according to Drum.
“I was doing a 21-day challenge with my daughter where we were not eating meat. Even now, I haven’t touched the meat and I’m a meat lover. It really changed my mindset; I feel lighter, more energised, and healthier. When I stopped on Friday, I decided to challenge myself even further and go back to school,” the report quoted him as saying.
