Cape Town – Reality TV star Nonku Williams recently celebrated her son’s birthday and used the occasion to reflect on her struggles to conceive.
She had been informed by three specialists that she would not be able to have any more children. They had told her that her eggs were not viable and even if she were to conceive, she would not carry the pregnancy to full term.
However, six months later, she discovered that she was pregnant without any need for IVF or medical intervention.

Nonku attributes her strong work ethic and values to her mother’s influence. Her mom was strict and raised her and her siblings with teachings from the Bible, which shaped Nonku’s approach to parenting her own three children.
“When we were all young my mom was very strict and she also taught us in the way of the Lord. I remember from a young age she would quote a few scriptures that I still remember even to this day, so her influence made me to be such a hard worker.”
