While widely recognised for his political endeavours, Kenny Kunene’s background as an educator may come as a surprise to many.
In a revealing interview with TshisaLive in 2023, the seasoned politician shared insights into his views on the state of education in South Africa.
“Education is close to my heart. We will come up with ways of monitoring the performance of teachers and principals. We will ensure schools with security challenges, we permanently employ people to make sure the schools feel safe, and quality of education is provided to children.” they reported him saying.
“So that the middle class is not under pressure to take their children to private schools” Kunene closed off.
