Cape Town – Model and social media influencer Minki Van Der Westhuizen took to social media recently to wow her followers with her new hairstyle.
The talk show host debuted her new bob hairstyle in one of her Instagram stories, donning all smiles and simply captioned it: “New hair, don’t care.”

In another separate post, she is clad in a mustard jumpsuit that complements her skin tone and reveals just how well her new hairstyle suits her. She captioned it:
“I could swear I had a budgie 30 years ago that was exactly that colour.”

The model has a talk show on the Afrikaans TV channel, VIA, that airs on Saturdays, MINKI, where she has “honest and heartening conversations with inspiring individuals from all walks of life”.
“I adore meeting new people and listening to their diverse views and opinions while cultivating a calm and friendly atmosphere in a room surrounded by cameras,” she wrote on her website.
She said she fell in love with presenting during her first opportunity as a presenter on SABC’s Pasella and said she later refined her TV presenting skill while travelling across South Africa to host two seasons of kykNET’s Boer Soek ‘n Vrou.
Minki is currently married to Ernst Joubert – a former South African rugby union player.
They have three children together, Katerien, Elise and Elsa.
