Cape Town – South Africa offers many places for romantic getaways and the higher-ups of the British show, Love Island UK have realised this, spending over R24 million to hire a mansion in Franschhoek in order to bring the show to Mzansi for a season.
According to The Sun UK, the Ludus Magnus resort will host the singles hoping to find love in the New Year’s winter edition of the show.
According to one of the publisher’s sources, this instalment of the series will set the standard for future seasons.
“The challenges on Love Island always make for fun TV and this place is a producer’s dream.
“It’s absolutely stunning and has so much going on. It will set the standard for future series.
“There’s bound to be plenty of fun and games on the winter edition and Ludus Magnus provides the perfect opportunity for a huge range of activities for the contestants to get stuck into,” the source was quoted as saying.
