Cape Town – Lasizwe Dambuza has checked into a mental health wellness facility, sharing the news in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Despite his successful YouTube career, he revealed he has been facing personal challenges.
Lasizwe expressed gratitude for his siblings’ support and for the opportunity to rest and recharge.
“I’ve successfully checked myself into a mental health wellness centre. It’s been a beautiful long year. Time to rest, recharge and reflect. My team will be taking over my social media accounts after this post as the show has to go on (Awkward Dates and Social Media Campaigns) and they confiscate phones here. (Literally the nurse is standing next to me waiting for me to finish posting so she can take away my phone).
“Also thank you to my siblings! Thank you for dropping me off here and holding my hand during the check-in process! The Sweerie, Bo Makothi I’ll see you guys when I am out and refreshed! I love you!,” he wrote.

This marks the second time he has sought help for his mental health, having previously checked into a wellness facility in November 2021 to manage his depression and anxiety, Times Live reported.
