Cape Town — South African music sensation Babes Wodumo recently made a glorified return to Instagram after being away from the platform for some time.
She was met with great excitement ,as her friends and followers welcomed her with open arms again.
Babes has endured a tough few months after she lost her husband, Mampintsha, who passed away tragically after he suffered a fatal stroke in December last year.
Upon her return to Instagram, she uploaded two posts. One of her and Mampintsha together and another picture of herself covered cozily while sitting in her car.
“Talking about a man who fights for me even on the other side ?We all make plans but God makes the final decision ?#My Instagram page is back#,” she wrote.

After Mampintsha died, the gqom singer disappeared from Instagram and could only be found on her late husband’s Facebook page. She announced having hacked his phone days after laying the Kwaito star to rest, The South African reported.
Babes developed a bad habit of missing gigs. She was scheduled to perform at Estradini Pub in Estcourt and Second Half Bar and Restaurant but she did not show up, as well as missing a gig at Ora Lifestyle in Pietermaritzburg.
Below are some 0f the reactions to her return:
“The Queen is back ???,” DJ Tira wrote.
“Siyakubongela. Welcome back sisi ♥️?,” Lindah Majola said
Nlhalhla Mafu said: “Welcome back honey ❤️”
