Cape Town – Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth and wife Anlia recently celebrated their baby girl turning five months old.
Eben and Anlia welcomed Baby Etzebeth, whose name has yet to be revealed on 16 January.
Anlia announced her pregnancy with much excitement, as other celebrations had also taken place – the Springboks becoming double World Champions and birthday celebrations for her husband.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture in all smiles with Eben and many had quickly picked up on her visible baby bump.
“BLESSINGS upon BLESSINGS!🏆🎂☔️ Thank you Lord!🙏🙏🙏 Well done Bokke & HAPPY BIRTHDAY my liefste man!!🥳❤️” she wrote.

Following a touching Father’s Day tribute to Eben on Sunday 16 June, Anlia posted a picture of the Etzebeth family, with Eben holding Baby Etzebeth up high.
Acknowledging the blessed occasion, she posted: “A whole 5months old!🥹 Die BESTE 5 maande van ons lewe! Ons grootste, grootste geskenk..🥰🙏. “God im still counting my blessings, all that you’ve done in my life..”

As reported by The South African, Anlia and Eben tied the knot at La Paris Estate in Franshoek, February 2023. Less than a year later, Eben popped the question and Anlia said yes!
Thereafter, the Springboks player shared the exciting news with followers, in a post that featured Anlia showing off her ring.
“Die begin van die res van ons lewe! Ek wou nog nooit so graag die ja-woord gehoor het nie. Jyt my die gelukkigste mens op die planeet gemaak! Happy Birthday @anliastar ❤ Looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you!
