Cape Town – Christian Dior SE, commonly known as Dior, a French luxury fashion house has announced on Instagram its collaboration with South African fashion designer, Thebe Magugu.
In the post, the fashion house explained its new capsule that supports the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project which invests in the health, education, and safety of young people living in Southern Africa.
“For this partnership, @MariaGraziaChiuri tapped designer @ThebeMagugu to reinterpret Dior’s iconic New Look with a powerful symbol of sisterhood,” it said in the Instagram post.

“I am proud to introduce my new capsule in collaboration with DIOR,” Magugu said on his Instagram page.
“Maria Grazia Chirui (@mariagraziachiuri) asked me to use Dior’s iconic ‘New Look’ as a base silhouette, which I interpreted through a variety of key wardrobe staples.
“The collection features our iconic Sisterhood emblem – representitive of themes of unity and empowerment prevalent in both Maria Grazia & I’s work – on a cotton T-shirt, a yellow silk twill scarf, the emblematic #DiorBookTote and more,” he added.
