Cape Town – Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow is reportedly in South Africa with her husband, American athlete Tim Tebow.
According to Channel24, the couple attended the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night To Shine initiative last week in Cape Town.
The couple holds a special place in their hearts for the initiative.
“Experiencing #NightToShine in my home country of SOUTH AFRICA alongside my husband, @timtebow, is something I will cherish FOREVER ?. For those of you who don’t know, Night to Shine is actually how Tim and I met when he invited my late sister, Franje who was born with severe special needs, to attend a few years back. Although Franje never got the chance to attend in person, I see a little piece of my sister in every single Honored Guest,” wrote Demi-Leigh in an Instagram post.

A Times Live report said that the couple tied the knot in Franschhoek in the Western Cape in 2020.
They are currently living in Florida, United States.
While in the country, the couple also paid a visit to a children’s home built by the Tim Bow Foundation in partnership with Impact Africa.
When they visited the now-completed children’s home last November, it was nearly finished.

The home is located in Johannesburg and is intended to house babies who have been abandoned in the city.
Demi took to Instagram once more to remind and share the inspiration behind building the children’s home in Johannesburg rather than Florida.
“It is estimated that 3-4 babies are abandoned DAILY in the greater Johannesburg area. Upon learning this staggering statistic, @timtebowfoundation felt convicted to confront this issue by partnering with @impactafrica to assist in prevention, provide education and assist in rescue operations to help desperate mothers in a very difficult time.

The couple does not have any children of their own, but Tim said shortly after the couple’s wedding in 2020 that they intended to have children in the near future, People reported.
“We’ve definitely talked about it, absolutely… I don’t know when that timeline would be right and when the right time [is],” the report quoted him as saying at the time.
