Cape Town – South African rapper Boity Thulo is celebrating her recent breast reduction surgery.
In a candid post on social media, she revealed that she underwent a mastopexy in February due to lower back pain and the impact of larger breasts on her outfit choices.
Boity expressed gratitude to her doctor, Bruce Lelala, for his support and exceptional work throughout the healing process.
She also commended him for being one of the best and most qualified black surgeons on the continent.
Boity also thanked her mother, grandmother, and a friend named Lerato for their care during her recovery and hinted at considering a mommy makeover in the future.
“I decided to take the plunge and do a procedure that benefited me in more ways than I thought it would. A mastopexy is a breast reduction and lift. This is a post to thank Dr Bruce not only for his incredible work but for his care and compassion throughout the healing process … from random calls of me stressing to taking out the time to go the extra mile regardless of what I felt I needed to give me peace of mind,”she wrote on Instagram.
“Over and above that, I’m so proud of having worked with one of the best, most qualified black surgeons in the continent. Thank you, Doc. When the time comes, I’ll be calling you for a mommy makeover! And thank you so much to my mommy Modiehi, Lerato, and my grandma for taking such great care of me during the healing process!.”
