Cape Town – One of the most feared Springbok players Eben Etzebeth, is gearing up for battle and sending a bold message to Ireland’s rugby team ahead of their highly anticipated match in Durban.
As he prepares to play on his home turf at Kings Park Stadium, the popular jock is looking to build on the momentum from last week’s victory at Loftus Stadium.
In a recent TikTok clip, fans got a taste of his intensity as he shouted, “Bazozama!” – translated from isiZulu as “They can try!”
The clip captures the excitement as the Boks descended on Kings Park, ready to defend their honour and showcase their prowess.

Eben isn’t the only Springbok ready to rumble ahead of the highly anticipated match against Ireland. Fellow teammate Pieter-Steph du Toit recently shared his excitement with SA Rugby saying: “It was great to play against them here in South Africa; the vibe within the team and at the stadium was electric. But now, we need to shift our focus to next week because our goal is to win both matches against them.”
