Cape Town – Anele Mdoda has been announced as the official host of the 2024 DStv Content Creator Awards, which will take place on 12 October.
The awards celebrate content creators, podcasters, and short film storytellers.
Anele shared the exciting news on her X (formerly Twitter) feed, promising to bring her A-game to the event.

“From dope content to creators who’ve turned our timelines into pure entertainment GOLD, to podcasters and short film storytellers, we’re celebrating them all.
“I’m bringing my A-game, and YOU better be there to witness it. So mark your calendars and book your tickets for the 12th October ‘cause it’s about to go down!,” Anele wrote.
Fans flooded her timeline with congratulatory messages, praising her skills.
Recently, Anele also shared that she witnessed a “robbery” at a Starbucks in Canada during her trip to the Toronto International Film Festival.
“Guys a man robbed the Starbucks with me inside today. Everyone just acted like nothing was happening. He came in dressed in a huge plastic and did a big reveal, grabbed some stuff and off he went.

Despite some controversy over the incident, her focus remains on her hosting gig.
