Cape Town — South African actress and media personality Pearl Thusi has received a lot of criticism for her outfit choice at Rich Mnisi’s One of One party recently.
The party was a collaboration with Adidas and a celebration of pride month, with some of the biggest names in South Africa there, including Cassper Nyovest and Boity Thulo.
Pearl was wearing a pair of thigh-high leather boots, a leather jacket over a full-body see-through jumpsuit with no bra underneath that exposed her breasts.

Pearl has said that she doesn’t understand why people were getting upset as it was nothing that they hadn’t seen before, after she posed nude for Marie Claire.
“Also – y’all need to stop acting like y’all ain’t see my ladies in my movies already. Nothing new happening here. I even did the Marie Claire naked what what twice.”
As reported by TimesLIVE, Pearl’s look has received mixed reactions to her outfit choice, with some deeming it inappropriate and others supporting her choice. A screenshot of her Instagram story told her followers to not let anyone police their life choices.
“Live your lives, ladies. You don’t need anyone’s permission,” she wrote.
Among those who disapproved Pearl’s choice was former Real Housewives of Durban star Kgomotso Ndungane, who said since Pearl was a mother, she should be cognisant of how she chooses to conduct herself in public.
“It would be amiss of me not to publicly have a view about Pearl Thusi’s tits out pics which she has circulated on her socials and I am happy to be dragged and unpopular for my opinion but I will not be mum about it and encourage a mother of two on those vibes.”
