Cape Town – Khanyi Mbau has announced her reconciliation with partner Kudzai Mushonga just a month after declaring their breakup on social media.
Initially, Mbau cited Mushonga’s past mistakes as the reason for her departure, saying she had “finally found the courage” to leave.
However, she recently revealed on Instagram that Mushonga reached out to address their issues, prompting her to return to him.
“He called, demanded I address the bad things he did, and asked to attend the funeral that made me mourn. I cried… he listened. Now, I’m in the car he sent, headed home,” she wrote.

She added: “Don’t ask! He didn’t entertain my rubbish. We are adults!! (Listen, don’t judge.) Besides, where would I go with a thigh laminated in bold with his name!”
The couple has a history of public relationship drama, including a past incident where Mushonga reported Mbau missing.
Despite their ups and downs, they are set to celebrate five years together this year.
