Cape Town – South African music star Uncle Waffles has announced that she is rekindling her partnership with KFC to relaunch the Uncle Waffles Burger.
Last year, the two collaborated on a limited edition burger that, at the time, was only available in Durban for a short period from 8–18 December, The South African said.
Due to its success, the partnership is back. The burger is described as ‘a crispy KFC fillet dunked in a maple chipotle sauce’, with two waffles serving as the bun.
Uncle Waffles took to Instagram to announce the burger’s relaunch, saying it would return for a limited time only.
“If you like it, get it twiceeeeeee. Uncle waffles burger is back baby! For a limited time only!! available at Kentucky town Pretoria, make sure to come through and get yourself some cute merch items too ?,” she said

Uncle Waffles’ stock has risen rapidly in a short space of time. After the release of her debut album in 2022, she followed it up with a second hit album, which was released in March this year.
She’s made a name of herself in the music industry, performing at Coachella in April and receiving very high praise from Kelly Rowland, who said she’s “so cool and has so much personality”.
