Cape Town – Critically-acclaimed actress, Joyce Skefu took to Instagram during the week to break the tragic news to her loyal supporters that she suffered a mild stroke.
Joyce recently took a hiatus from the small screen and viewers wondered about her sudden disappearance.
“Good morning my lovelies,” wrote Joyce.

“Hope you all well and kept by the grace of God, Ya life happens. I was quiet because I had a mild stroke got hospitalised but God did it again,” said Joyce.
Joyce said that she was attending therapy.
“I am doing therapies and getting better daily, but I sincerely thank you cause you were my strength even if did not know, Thank you for your amazing love,” she said.

According to Kaya959, the actress survived two car accidents a few years ago with minor injuries.
The report said that Joyce first debuted on to the small screen with her much-loved character of ‘Doris’ on popular soapie Muvhango in 1997. The critically-acclaimed role awarded her five nominations for Best Actress Award where she went home with two awards and won the Selimathunzi Duku Duku Award which was voted for by the public.
