Cape Town — South African rappers K.O and Nadia Nakai shared a heartwarming moment on social media as the two spoke about dropping some of AKA’s unreleased music.
AKA was tragically shot and killed in Durban in February this year and South African music fans were robbed of hearing any new music from the superstar. He did manage to release his last album Mass Country, which achieved great local success.
However, it seems not all hope is lost after Nadia Nakai, AKA’s girlfriend, reached out to K.O, one of SA’s top artists at the moment and requested that he release the song that the two collaborated on before AKA’s passing.
“There’s a song Kiernan did with K.O (not out yet) but he was so proud of his verse. I hope KO drops It! Please do. @MrCashtime I listen to it all the time. “It’s hard to be stand up guy and stand the test of time” Skhanda God. Mega,” she wrote.

K.O, known locally as Mr Cashtime, responded swiftly to Nadia and assured her that he’s going to do the right thing and that the song is expected for release in the summer.
K.O’s announcement has got SA music fans excited and they commented on the upcoming collaboration.
“Love queen. We gonna do the right thing Definitely this summer,” he wrote.
